It is an incrediblydiverse industry, as it includes companies that make labels for packages.It serves a large group of manufacturers including food and beverage,electrical, electronics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and cosmetics.HistoryThe PCS was founded in 1975 as a sub-committee of the SMF. In October2001, it absorbed the Plastics Industry Group.The nature of the industry has also changed dramatically over the yearsfollowing changes in lifestyle.
