Anaconda ATEX cable-hose-fitting,stainless steel AISI-316.ATEX approved fi ttings are required for all European applicationsin potentially explosive atmospheres. They arefrequently used in the food industry, off-shore, chemicaland petrochemical industry. Typical applications are connectionson big motors, transformers, control equipmentand terminal boxes. The special stainless steel AISI-316ATEX cable-hose-fi tting offers a superior corrosion resistanceand fi ts directly on every type of Anaconda Sealtite(except CNP). By using the right connection set this fi ttingcan also be used in combination with the non-covered stainlesssteel types like SLI and UI. There is also a standardstainless steel ATEX cable-fi tting to be used in combinationwith regular male NPT fi ttings or NPT threaded rigid pipe.Material & Construction:Construction: Stainless steel AISI-316 fi tting, consistingof 7 parts (counter nut, clamping ring, ferrule, intermediatehousing, pressure ring, sealing rubber and body).Also available as barrier version with sealing compound.Material: Counter nut, intermediate housing, pressure ringand body are stainless steel AISI-316, sealing rubber is fromEPDM rubber, clamping ring is from PA6. Ferrule from 3/8”till 1” galvanised steel and from 1.1/4” onwards nickel platedbrass..Fittings are fully RoHS compliant.Temperature: -40 °C till +100 ºC continuous.
