Para-Plus Translations, Inc.It is recommended that permission be granted for Special Services to contract with Para-PlusTranslations, Inc., to provide Urdu Creole translation services for evaluations, IEP and annual IEP reviewmeetings. This service is required b NJAC 6A:14-2.4. Para-Plus Translation, Inc., is the only agency inthe South Jersey area that can provide Urdu language and Creole translation service. Translationservices will be provided at various school sites as needed.Total cost not to exceed $3,000.Acct. #11000219320 000 59 Local FundsD. Surrogate ParentsIt is recommended that permission be granted those individuals, whose names are on file in theBusiness Administrator/Board Secretary’s Office, to be retained as Surrogate Parents for the districtduring the 2009-2010 school year. The surrogate parents will be paid $10 per hour whenever theyparticipate in a required training and/or IEP process. This is in compliance with NJAC 6A:14-2.2.Total cost not to exceed $200.
