NJ Math and Science Education Biology Film FestivalIt is recommended that permission be granted for Biology students and their teachers toparticipate in the NJ Math and Science Education Biology Film Festival during the 2009-2010 schoolyear.Students will produce a DVD formatted, drama, comedy or narrative program, up to six minuteslong, that will address one biology big idea or subtopic. Submissions are due no later than April 1, 2010,to NJ Math and Science Education Biology Film Festival.There will be no cost to the Board.4. Doctoral StudentIt is recommended that permission be granted for Abagail Gray, doctoral student, University ofPennsylvania, to study the implementation of Action 100 in all Elementary and Family <strong>Schools</strong>. Thefocus of her study is to build district-wide systems that support the implementation of effectiveinstructional practices.There will be no cost to the Board.5. <strong>Camden</strong> <strong>Public</strong> Librarians (Treece)It is recommended that permission be granted for <strong>Camden</strong> <strong>Public</strong> Librarians to visit classroomsin various schools throughout the district during the 2009-2010 school year.
