Pronotum ochreous with a pair <strong>of</strong>central longitudinal fasciae, much widened anteriorly and fused to each o<strong>the</strong>r posteriorly,<strong>the</strong> extreme lateral and posterior margins black, and <strong>the</strong> inner area more or less tingedwith brown; mesonotum castaneous, paler and ochreous centrally, with 2 pairs <strong>of</strong> anteriorobconical or falcate spots, <strong>the</strong> outer pair very small, a discal spot just before cruciformelevation, and a narrow band across basal arm <strong>of</strong> cruciform elevation, black or muchinfuscated; abdomen black and greyishly pilose, with timbal covering except for <strong>the</strong> innerlateral part, a pair <strong>of</strong> spots on 2nd tergum (not always), caudal and central (not always)parts <strong>of</strong> £ 8th tergum, and central part <strong>of</strong> -?• 9th tergum, ochreous to castaneous; a pair<strong>of</strong> white pollinose spots sometimes appearing on £ 3rd tergum.Venter <strong>of</strong> thorax dull ochreous, clo<strong>the</strong>d with sparse white pollinosity, with lateral part<strong>of</strong> central metaprepisternal process black and with £ operculum ochreous orange andpollinose laterally; legs also very similar to those <strong>of</strong> accipiter, but ochreous parts darker;
