During our trips, youlearn the history of the Ramapo Mountainswhile visiting historic iron mines, caveshelters, century old buildings, aRevolutionary War entrenchment. Thescenery affords some of the best mountaintop views and waterfalls found in thelocal forests. More than just a walk downthe path, our hikes will take us overmountains, through valleys, and acrossstreams. Hikers should be in reasonablecondition for a moderate and steady paceof 3 to 5 hours. In order to receivepertinent orientation materials, allregistrations must include a currentemail address. Consult your physicianbefore attempting a physically challengingactivity like hiking.
