The first stopis the Whaling Museum which containswhaling equipment, scrimshaw, paintings,furnishings and more. Lunch is in one ofthe town’s many fine restaurants (on yourown, not included in fee). After lunch youwill have time to browse the waterfrontarea and explore the town’s many shops.Next, head to East Hampton where youwill visit the quaint home of playwright,actor and diplomat John Payne, whowrote the song “Home Sweet Home.” Thehouse contains 17th and 18th-centuryfurniture and a fine collection of Englishceramics and lusterware.
