WHO’S WHAT?Now back in March ‘08 we reviewed an Epby a band who had recently discovered theS n W, and we have not stopped having agood laugh since! ‘Who’s Afear‘d’ have hada busy year due to the type of music theyplay, that is they are a covers!! band butthey change the lyric’s with style! We herethought the Ep was just great entertainmentand nicely put together. Their longawaited album “The Day of The Badger”was released too much acclaim that it soldout with-in weeks, so here at the <strong>Scrumpy</strong>we had to wait for a copy to review. Thereare 12 tracks with all the words by ‘Who’sAfear‘d’ (all music borrowed and butcheredat no extra expense!!) The first track‘Weymouth Quay’ has a green message,followed by track 2 full on cider punk ‘CiderRiot’ which has an even bigger message!!This is an excellent album, with a take onThe Beach Boys hit ‘California Girls’ (CiderDrinking, Pasty Eating, West CountryGirls). You can buy the album at their gigs(buy cider lots of it!! On Friday 14th November theyplayed The Railway, College Street, Burnhamon Sea playing material from theiralbum ‘Longest Journey’ which has earnedthem rave reviews, and impressed audi-FREE Every Month <strong>Scrumpy</strong> ‘n’ <strong>Western</strong> issue 10 vol 5ences were ever they have played. Withtheir smart stage presentation, their skill asmusicians and very tight playing with someexcellent harmony’s. Not only did they playa mix of their own material but they provedhow well they played covers like (Free)‘Alright Now’, (Cheap Trick) ‘I Want You,To Want Me’ (Kinks) ‘Tired of Waiting’ andlots more. Danny at The Railway was thatimpressed, he asked if they would play athis wife’s birthday party in July ‘09 but ‘TwoChoices’ will be on the line-up for a HydePark concert in London that day.
