Kamrul Hassan*AbstractThe study attempts to focus on the facts relating to the communication skill <strong>of</strong> the differentlevels <strong>of</strong> business executives <strong>of</strong> local private business concerns in Bangladesh and their level<strong>of</strong> awareness regarding the importance <strong>of</strong> communication skill for them. The study revealsthat majority <strong>of</strong> the executives’ opinions are positive regarding the importance <strong>of</strong>communication course for executives, many <strong>of</strong> them have completed this course and majority<strong>of</strong> them are dissatisfied with it. The study also reveals that many <strong>of</strong> the executives havereceived training on communication skill and majority <strong>of</strong> them are dissatisfied with itsquality. Although majority <strong>of</strong> the executives think that there should be compulsory trainingprogram on communication skill in business organizations but compulsory training programdoes not exist in any <strong>of</strong> the business organization. Executives’ opinions regarding thedifferent issues relating to this study are independent <strong>of</strong> their levels.
