This includes amongst others Arup, CBRE and quantitysurveyors Davis Langdon;Consultations – consultations have also been undertaken with business, industryassociations, relevant organisations, local community and specific experts;Market review – a detailed market assessment and forecasts have been prepared by PwC;Sector specific reports and data – a wide range of reports have been reviewed and datasources analysed, including the British Film Institute’s Statistical Yearbooks;National and sub-national policy – a review has also been undertaken of national and subnationalpolicies, including those related to the creative industries; andNational data sets – a range of published socio-economic data sets have also been analysedincluding the Office of National Statistics (ONS) Annual Population Survey, ONS Lower LayerSuper Output Area (LSOA) population estimates, Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings andBusiness Demography data.1.3 Structure of report1.3.1 The report continues in a further four sections, as follows:Section 2 – presents an overview of Pinewood, including its location, its core activities,history, current accommodation, recent investments and recent performance;Section 3 – sets out the business case for the proposed expansion and a description of theproject proposals;Section 4 – assesses the economic and wider impacts of delivering the PSDF project, as wellas its contribution to meeting policy objectives; andSection 5 – sets out the conclusions of the report.3
