For a robe separated from one for more than six nights:Idaṃ me bhante cīvaraṃ atireka-chā-rattaṃ vippavutthaṃ aññatra bhikkhusammatiyānissaggiyaṃ. Imāhaṃ āyasmato nissajjāmi,which means, "This robe of mine, venerable sir, separated (from me) for more thansix nights without authorization of the bhikkhus, is to be forfeited. I forfeit it to you."Change cīvaraṃ to dvi-cīvaraṃ for two robes, and to ti-cīvaraṃ for three.NP 30.
