We had sunshine for the ninth straightyear.Low gross for the outing was Rick Ban,(Ohio '72) with an 81. Bill Leonard (PennState '53) was low net for the secondstraight year with a 72. Jim Dunn, guest ofJ. Howard Womsley (Dickinson '57) tiedfor low net with a 72.Bill Leonard was also closest to the pinon #3. Curt Ellenberg, guest of J. Womsleywas closest to the pin on #7 and had thelongest drive on #15. Dr. Harry Sanford,guest of John Geis (Purdue 'S3) was closestto the pin on #11. Bemie Dusenberry (Allegheny'43) was closest to pin on #14 andGlenn Bock (Kent State '58) had longestputt on #9. Dave Landis, guest of BillWrenshall (W&J '41) was closest to thepin on #16 and Bob DiTommaso, also aguest of Bill Wrenshall, had the longestputt on #18. Our oldest golfer, H. G. Womsley,father of J. Howard Womsley, wascelebrating his eighty-second birthday onthis date. Jack Cosgrove (Penn State '38)presented him with a picture of Joe Patemo.Golf was followed with a fantastic steakdinner and prizes were awarded with JohnGeis presiding.
