When countable income exceeds the limit set bylaw, no benefits are payable. The spouse’s income must also beincluded if living with a spouse. A spouse may be the other parent ofthe deceased veteran, or a spouse from remarriage. Unreimbursedmedical expenses may be used to reduce countable income.
