The ITsystem in the Sava Group is managed uniformly andforms a good basis for the optimisation of businessprocesses. In all areas, where this is reasonable andpossible, the IT solutions are standardised. In thismanner we decrease a diversity of IT tools withinthe Sava Group. This and managing of suppliersresult in synergies, which significantly contribute tothe efficient use of IT sources.In 2010, we focused our activities on the followingprojects:• Introduction of electronic managing of travelorders and electronic reservation and evidence ofavailable company cars. The introduction of thisapplication considerably simplifies and reduceswork in the accounting departments and improvestransparency and accuracy of data.• IT support for accepting incoming invoices directlyin the electronic system.• Production of data interfaces between SAP andspecialised programmes for production planningin individual programmes.• Implementation of a solution for work automationthrough entering and booking compensations.• Upgrading the MC Office programmes to the 2007version, and modifying MIS to operate in thisenvironment.• Liaise in the preparation of project elaborates inthe IT area for managing quality and laboratorymeasurements of rubber compounds andproducts.• Establish preliminary conditions for theimplementation of the new reporting tool QlikView in purchasing, sales and profitability.In 2010, we further improved the organisation ofwork, utilisation of the existing IT tools, introducedgood practice cases in managing IT, and continuallyupgraded the IT security. We assisted users withproviding advices and instructions to improve theuse of IT tools.37
