Employees received holiday allowancesand rewards for not utilising sick leave. At the endof the year all employees received a special rewardin the gross amount of €500.00 for achieving theoutstanding business results.In <strong>2010</strong>, we devoted special attention to employeeswho owing to their exemplary and diligent worksignificantly contributed to work efficiency. In total,464 model worker rewards and 5 workers of thecompany rewards were paid, while 3 associatesof <strong>Savatech</strong> received the Sava worker award. 171employees or 22% of all employees who during theyear finished education and improved their formallevel of education, or additionally trained to carryout other tasks, assumed more demanding andresponsible tasks were promoted.Education and trainingIn <strong>2010</strong>, we proceeded with deepening andexpansion of knowledge in rubber manufacturingand technology. For this purpose, numerous lectures,classes and workshops were organised, whichenhanced the level of employee competence. Withinthe company we organised courses about rubbertechnology held by domestic and foreign specialists,machinery suppliers, as well as training coursesfor rubber manufacturing for manufacturing andspecialist workers. A number of educational classesand training courses were held abroad. We organisedclasses that dealt with quality and safe work as wellas healthy life-style and encouraged employees forformal education obtaining a formal verification.Competentand reliableassociatesWe try not toignore the zeal andefficiency of ourassociates.We use variousforms ofmotivation andremuneration toinspire loyalty frommost competentassociates.27 employees of the second generation successfullyfinished training for rubber manufacturing, and in theautumn term the third generation began training.To encourage employee personal growth weorganised 360 hour training with the JeseniceCommunity Centre called My Work Place, whichwas attended by 13 participants. For employees in theprogrammes Eko, Mixing Plant and Conveyor Beltswe improved relationships in work places, carried outtwo-day workshops titled How to combine workingobligations, mutual relations and personal content.In total, 55,333 hours of education and training weremade in the past year, or 70 hours per employee onaverage. In <strong>2010</strong>, 34 associates had contract aboutparty-time study, 7 of them successfully finished theirstudy, and one new part-study contract was made.43
