Radio Turf is a communityradio station that broadcasts from Turfloop'sStudent Centre. The Station was establishedin 1994, initially as a Campus Radio Stationand later became a Community Radio Stationto serve both the University and thecommunities.The Station broadcasts for 24/7 in bothEnglish and Sepedi/Northern Sotho. Studentsin general, especially those studying MediaStudies are encouraged to volunteer at theStation. We further draw other presentersfrom our broadcasting areas such asMankweng Township i.e Unit A-F, Polokwane,Seshego, Boyne, Ga-Kgoši Mamabolo,Segopje, Ga Kgoši Dikgale, Nobody, Ga Kgoši-Mothapo, Ga Kgoši Molepo, Ga KgošiMamabolo and Mentz.Radio Turf's motto: 'The station that listens tothe people'.
