Biologist and eco-guide Jason Bantle creates exquisite<br />
wildlife images using film and without filters or digital<br />
alteration. Hand-made and unframed photographs from<br />
northern Canada and Alaska include polar, grizzly and black<br />
bears, Arctic foxes and wolves.<br />
Showing original paintings, photography, sculpture,<br />
ceramic, glass and fine woodworking by local and regional<br />
artists for over twenty years. The Avens Gallery features<br />
established Bow Valley artists, and maintains an active<br />
exhibition schedule.<br />
Specializing in buying and selling of artworks; paintings,<br />
original prints, sculpture and fine art photography, including<br />
historical and contemporary work by Canadian and<br />
international artists.<br />
Operated by the Centennial Museum Society of Canmore.<br />

Gallery has ongoing exhibitions, encompassing historical<br />
to contemporary art. We specialize in the handling and care<br />
of original artwork and have an extensive selection of<br />
framing choices.<br />
Housed in an airy Main Street location, Elevation Gallery<br />
boasts a large collection of artworks by emerging and midcareer<br />
artists. Although the gallery features large scale<br />
works by contemporary painters and mixed media artists, it<br />
also houses wonderful pieces in ceramic, glass, metal and<br />
in particular, fine jewellery by award winning goldsmiths.<br />
Hand blown glass sculpture, functional work and jewellery<br />
by Susan Gottselig, Nicole Tremblay and Beth Woolley.<br />
Visitors welcome! Please call ahead for hours. Glass from<br />
these artists is also at The Avens Gallery, <strong>Mountain</strong><br />
Galleries, (Jasper Park Lodge & Chateau Whistler), <strong>Art</strong>ym<br />
