House rulesAn operator may choose to have a set ofhouse rules, which describe the rules theresidents must follow. The house rulesusually include things such as:• respecting other residents’ right topeace and quiet• not damaging any property oracting violently• keeping rooms clean• not using rooms for illegal purposes.15
