Power Amplifi er
EEEngine
The Energy Effi cient Engine (or EEEngine) is a unique, innovative amp drive technology developed by Yamaha.
While preserving the sound quality required for professional power amplifi ers, EEEngine delivers overwhelming
power and highly effi cient driving performance with signifi cantly reduced energy requirements. In specifi c terms,
this technology has successfully reduced power consumption and heat generation to less than 50% and 35% of
their original levels*, respectively. As such, the EEEngine is a welcome relief to the ever-increasing power loads
associated with more lighting and the like in sound-reinforcement venues. Naturally, this energy-saving, cool-running design also contributes to power
cost savings and to extended service lives of power amps (as long as internal components are not damaged by heat).
TXn Series
Three new high-power amplifi ers not only deliver extraordinary effi ciency and stunning sound quality reliably into 2-ohm loads, but also offer
sophisticated onboard DSP with a front-panel user interface that minimizes or eliminates the need for external equalizers, delays, and speaker
processors. All models feature both analog and direct digital inputs, with automatic failsafe redundancy switching between digital and analog
input. The input confi guration can be changed as required using optional plug-in Yamaha mini-YGDAI interface cards. With the appropriate I/O
cards these advanced amplifi ers are fully compatible with CobraNet or EtherSound audio networks as well as a variety of digital audio formats.
The built-in Ethernet port can be connected to a computer running Yamaha’s NetworkAmp Manager II software for comprehensive remote
control and monitoring of individual amplifi ers or groups.
