Schmelz. During the two-day event, youngassistant surgeons received training in differentresection procedures (TUR-P, TUR-B and vaporization),and tips on troubleshooting. Thetraining was delivered through lectures, videoclips and most importantly hands-on workshops.Intensive support was provided by ProfessorDr. Schmelz and his three tutors from theArmed Forces Central Hospital (BWK) in Koblenzas well as proactive support from our fieldstaff. Alongside Richard Wolf, the companyBOWA was a further sponsor of the eventand fitted the operation workstations with itsbipolar generators. The highly scientific programand the confirmed 19 CME pointsdemonstrated that this TUR School was a firstclassmedical event.
