CONCLUSIONNew Age Humanism (1986). 6 Until Christians understand the nature ofthe confrontation, they will continue to tilt at windmills. The kind of information Christians need is not usually available inbookstores. Not in Christian bookstores, because Christian bookstoresrarely have carried books like Quigley's Tragedy and Hope, Allen'sNone Dare Call It Conspiracy, and Billington's Fire in the Minds ofMen. (Some now carry Pat Robertson's New World Order. Part 2 issuch a good introduction that the book was widely criticized by theliberal press, unlike his other books, which have received little mediaattention.) Humanist bookstores seldom carry books like my UnholySpirits. The books I list in my bibliography are usually out of printand are hard to locate, even in large university libraries. If it were notfor copyright problems, I would put a lot of them on a CD-ROM.Nevertheless, you need to read. He who refuses to read will be in apoor position to lead. If we think our opponents have done a terriblejob, then we need to prepare ourselves to do a better job. They've donetheir homework. Are we doing ours?It is time to sign up for a religious war that will last for the rest ofyour life. If we do our work faithfully, maybe we will start seeingsome major victories before we get very far into the next millennium.I think we will. I smell victory. I think the enemy, for the first time ina century, has begun to smell defeat. They are trying to speed up theirtimetable because their dream of a one-world order is unravelling.Technology is now against them: decentralization. Newsletters aremultiplying: alternative information sources. The World Wide Web isbeyond anyone's control. The public schools are disintegrating. Andmillions of people are catching on. This is good news for God's peopleand bad news for His enemies.Footnotes:1 Gary North, Unconditional Surrender: God's Program for Victory(3rd ed.; Tyler, Texas: Institute for Christian Economics, 1988).2 Gary North, Moses and Pharaoh: Dominion Religion vs. PowerReligion (Tyler, Texas: Institute for Christian Economics, 1985),Introduction.3 David Chilton, Paradise Restored: A Biblical Theology of Dominionhttp://freebooks.commentary.net/freebooks/docs/html/gnco/html/conclusion.htm (6 of 7) [5/26/2000 1:48:26 PM]
