THE PEOPLE'S WILLdifference between right and wrong acts. Until they are willing tochoose right rather than wrong, all the facts in the world will not helpthem; the wide availability of facts will simply condemn them. Fromthose to whom much is given, much is expected (Luke 12:48)."Who shot President Kennedy?" is not the main issue. What isrelevant is this question: What kind of society were PresidentKennedy and his advisors, his successor Lyndon Johnson and hisadvisors, and their rivals the Communists really trying to build? Theanswer is clear: societies that either ignore God or reject God. Theywere generally successful in their efforts. If I were President of the UnitedStates, no C.F.R. member or Trilateral Commission member couldserve in any position subject to my appointment. But that isn't thepoint. I am not sure that the "average" American voter cares one wayor the other. I doubt that I could gain many votes for President interms of such a campaign promise, other than from those who havehttp://freebooks.commentary.net/freebooks/docs/html/gnco/html/2.htm (5 of 10) [5/26/2000 1:48:04 PM]
