Brisbane State HighNewsletterPage 13 of 15Implications for Students and FamiliesIn 2011:A Pilot Notebook Program will be expanded to classes in Year 9 and 10• The purpose of this trial program is to investigate the benefits and challenges faced by students,parents and staff in regard to learning within a 1:1 notebook environmentSocial Emotional Learning (SEL) – Cyber Safety Program• Students will undergo a Cyber Safety induction as part of SEL.Resources• A transition plan from textbooks to e-books will be developed during 2011 – 2012.2011 and beyond:IT Support• Development of a wiki for all students to access and contribute to.
