It wasagreed that the location would be a good choice for a South/Ccentral NJ PA Retirees luncheon.The first event was held on Thursday, September 20, 2007 with 32 attendees. It hassince evolved into a quarterly luncheon, held in 2008 on the third Thursday: January 17;April 17; July 17; and, October 16. Attendance has averaged 32 guests per luncheon. In2009 the group plans to meet at the Captain’s Inn on: January 15; April 16; July 16; and,October 15. In July, weather permitting, the luncheon is held on the deck outside adjacentto the water.

But reunions, and especially casual, informal get togethers, without speeches andformalities are a great way to celebrate “life”–is it not? There were many fond memories and great relationships that developed in the days ofPONYA and then PANYNJ that even extend onto today. So why not continue the effort and opportunities to once again meet and greet our formerco-workers and colleagues in this wonderful environment–initiated and made possible by our wonderful but camera shy co-hostesses, LizDeLaura and Rita Dubrow, and co-host Stan Raith? Encourage those you are in touch with, to join us and share the friendship, the good food,the warmth and the occasions to reminisce of those great (and not so great) days at The Port Authority and The World Trade Center. Keep thenext date open: Thursday, January 15, 2009.
