Bituthene GLM cures toa very smooth, tough and flexible rubber-likewaterproofing layer.Bituthene GLM is ideal for waterproofingfor both concrete and masonry and may beused in both new construction and retrofitapplications. Typical applications includefoundation walls, earth sheltered structures,and split slab construction, both above andbelow grade, such as plaza areas and parkingdecks. Interior uses may include mechanicalrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.InstallationSubstrate PreparationSurfaces shall be dry and free from dust,dirt, grease or other contaminants. It may benecessary to wire brush areas where dirt orscale cannot be removed, with a stiff broom.Check surface for cracks, splits, flashing,coverings, and so on. Where cracks exceed 1mm, they must be filled with fabric matting,followed by a liberal application of BitutheneGLM.Bituthene GLM should be applied directlyfrom the pail. For priming purposes, pleaseconsult your local Grace representative.Liquid Membrane InstallationApply Bituthene GLM by brush or roller.Normally a minimum of two coats is required,unless a trowel method of application is
