The Registrar Punjab & <strong>Haryana</strong> High Court & all District & Session Judges in<strong>Haryana</strong>.Dated Chandigarh, the 14th January, 1988.Subject :— Relaxation in age limit to adhoc employees for competing for selection by theS.S.S. Board.Sir,I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to say that the question of givingrelaxation in age limit to the adhoc employees for appointment to Government service on regular basishas been considered in the context that some of them have become overage for entry into governmentservice while working on adhoc basis. The Government have decided that all those adhoc employeeswho were within the prescribed age limit for entry into Government service at the time of appointmentto service on adhoc basis will be entitled to compete with other candidates selection by the S.S.S.Board. This relaxation in age is to be given only to those adhoc employees, who are presently ingovernment service subject to further condition that initial recruitment on adhoc basis was madethrough the Employment Exchange. The adhoc employees presently in government service will begiven relaxation in age to the extent that they would get one opportunity for competing for selectionby the S.S.S. Board.2. The Government have also decided that where posts have already been advertised andapplications invited by the Board, the Board should invite applications from such adhoc employeeswho were not eligible to apply earlier because of age limit.3.
