The Registrar, Punjab and <strong>Haryana</strong> High Court andall District & Sessions Judges, in <strong>Haryana</strong>.Dated Chandigarh, the 24th June, 1988.Subject :—Relaxation in age limit to adhoc employees for competing for selection by <strong>Haryana</strong>Public Services Commission.Sir,I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to say that the question of givingrelaxation in age limit to the class-II adhoc employees for appointment to Government service onregular basis has been considered by Govt. in the context that some of them have become overagefor entry into Government service while working on adhoc basis. The Government have decidedthat all those Class II adhoc employees who were within the prescribed age limit for entry intoGovernment service at the time of appointment to service on adhoc basis may be granted relaxationin the age to the extent that they would get one opportunity for competing for selections by the<strong>Haryana</strong> Public Service Commission. This relaxation in age is to be given only to those adhocClass-II employees who are presently in the Government service and their initial recruitment onadhoc Class-II employees who are presently in the Government service and their initial recruitmenton adhoc basis was made through the Employment Exchanges, provided further that these employeeswere not working on a substantive Class-III posts at the time of their adhoc appointment inClass-II.2. The Government have also decided that where posts have already been advertised and theapplications invited by the H.P.S.C., the H.P.S.C. should circulate the vacancies to the department andinvite application from such adhoc employees who were not eligible to apply earlier because of agelimit. This concession would be available only for one year from the date of issue of this letter.3.
