ONE l1li INTRODUCTIONo Pointless scales the font outline to the selected size.Mter loading the TrueType file, Pointless will scale the font outline to the correct pointsize and create the font bit-map from the outline. It may take just asecond for Pointlessto create the font, or several seconds, depending on the size of the font (and yoursystem speed). While Pointless generates the font, you'll see the Pointless cursor, asshown. The cursor indicates how far Pointless is in the process of creating a font.This whole process happens automatically and takes just seconds. With the fontcreated, it's ready to use for displaying and printing text.INSTALLING POINTLESSNow that you've learned about TrueType fonts and how Pointless works, you're ready tostart using it.
