Script variable reference<strong>Reference</strong> syntax of script variablesSyntaxvariableEffectReturns the value of variable. See Identifiers for the syntax of script variables. Ifvariable does not exist, an error is signalled. This is not the same as referencingan existing script variable whose value is the undefined value, which is legal andreturns the undefined value.
