4. Pilotage4.1 The Pilot, once on board, shall be deemed to be an employee andservant of the Owners, Charterers or Authorized Agent of the Owners.They shall be liable for the Pilots acts, neglect or default in the courseof his employment.4.2 The Authority shall not be liable if the services of a Pilot are notavailable nor shall any liability <strong>at</strong>tach to the Authority if the Pilot isunable, for any reason wh<strong>at</strong>soever to perform his duties on board thevessel.4.3 Pilotage both inbound and outbound is compulsory through <strong>Fujairah</strong><strong>Port</strong> Authority. The Master should complete and sign the master/pilotInform<strong>at</strong>ion and Pilotage Passage Plan; Master Declar<strong>at</strong>ion andConditions of use <strong>Fujairah</strong> SPM’s Terminals.4.4 The Pilot/ Loading Master will stay on board till tanker’s departure andshall be provided with meals (th<strong>at</strong> does not contain Pork) and suitableaccommod<strong>at</strong>ions.4.5 Pilotage (Berthing/ Unberthing is available round the clock if we<strong>at</strong>herpermits).5 Pilot St<strong>at</strong>ion25 0 18.9’ N & 056 0 35.0’E6 SPM ChannelA special channel with Navig<strong>at</strong>ion buoys specified for <strong>tankers</strong> <strong>calling</strong> <strong>at</strong> andleaving from SPM <strong>terminals</strong> as indic<strong>at</strong>ed in the Admiralty Charts 3709 &3723.Version No. 2 / D<strong>at</strong>e : 01.04.2012 Revision No. 7/ 30.01.2013 Page 14 |6 3
