school bus, the bus driver will notify
the appropriate administrator and
file a written description of the
problem on the bus discipline form.
At the discretion or interpretation
of the administration, a conference
between the bus driver, the student
and his/her parent/guardian will
ensue.
Improper conduct on the bus will
be treated in the same manner as
conduct in the school and the
same rules will apply.
Getting on an incorrect bus on
purpose will be treated as
improper bus conduct.

OFFENSE

principal. A registered
letter will be sent to the
student=s parents informing
them of the problem, as
well as what procedures
will be followed if a
second or third offense
occurs during the school
year.
i The student will be
excluded from the bus for
a period of five(5) school
days and his parents shall
provide transportation to
and from school during
that period. Absence from
school during this period
will be considered
truancy.
i The student will be
excluded from the bus for
a period of thirty(30)
school days and his
parents shall provide
transportation to and from
school during that period.
Absence from school
during this period will be
considered truancy and
any further infractions will
be subject to an additional
(30) days= suspension of
his/her privileges.
Suspensions will be carried
from year to year,
Returning to the bus requires a
parental conference with the
administration and student. Also,
students must attend school when
bus removal days exceed
suspension days - parent(s) are
responsible to provide
transportation under provisions of
NJ Statutes, Section 18A:25-2.
