MetaDi® Diamond Polish<strong>in</strong>g Compounds are the standard of the<br />
<strong>in</strong>dustry <strong>for</strong> critical sample preparation processes. The unique<br />
<strong>for</strong>mulation of MetaDi® compounds makes them the best <strong>for</strong> use <strong>in</strong><br />
metallographic, petrographic, and ceramographic polish<strong>in</strong>g<br />
applications. MetaDi® diamond compounds are a premium product<br />
that utilize natural (<strong>in</strong> MetaDi® Paste <strong>for</strong>mula) and synthetic (<strong>in</strong><br />
MetaDi® Suspension and MetaDi® II Paste <strong>for</strong>mula) diamond graded<br />
<strong>for</strong> particle size as well as shape. The diamond carrier is <strong>for</strong>mulated<br />
to keep the diamond from load<strong>in</strong>g up and to ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong> its cutt<strong>in</strong>g<br />
efficiency through the life of the polish<strong>in</strong>g surface. Water based<br />
suspensions are recommended <strong>for</strong> most applications. Oil based<br />
suspensions are recommended only <strong>for</strong> materials that are water<br />
sensitive or where more lubrication is necessary.<br />
