AIR QUALITY CONTROLGENERAL PERMIT FOR GENERATORSATTACHMENT “B”: SPECIFIC CONDITIONSI. RELATIONSHIP OF PERMIT TO APPLICABLE STATE IMPLEMENTATION PLAN[ARS §49-404.C and -426]This permit is issued pursuant to the provisions <strong>of</strong> <strong>Arizona</strong> Revised Statutes (ARS) and constitutes anInstallation <strong>Permit</strong> for the purpose <strong>of</strong> the applicable State Implementation Plan.II.FACILITY WIDE LIMITATIONSA. Operational LimitationsThe <strong>Permit</strong>tee shall not operate the generator(s) for more than the number <strong>of</strong> hours allowed inthe Authorization(s) To Operate (ATO) associated with this <strong>General</strong> <strong>Permit</strong> as determined on arolling twelve (12) month total.[A.A.C. R18-2-306.A.2 and -331.A.3.a][Material permit conditions are indicated by underline and italics]B. Stack Requirements1. The exhaust stack discharge <strong>of</strong> the generator stack(s) shall be vertical and its heightabove ground shall be 14 feet or greater.2. If the stacks are equipped with rain caps, they must be hinged.C. Fuel LimitationsThe <strong>Permit</strong>tee shall only burn the fuel specified on the ATO(s).[A.A.C. R18-2-306.A.2][A.A.C. R18-2-306.A.2]D. Maintenance RequirementThe <strong>Permit</strong>tee shall operate and maintain the generator(s) in accordance with manufacturer’sspecifications.[A.A.C. R18-2-306.A.2]E. Recordkeeping Requirements1. The <strong>Permit</strong>tee shall record the monthly operating hours at the end <strong>of</strong> each month foreach generator identified on the ATO associated with this <strong>General</strong> <strong>Permit</strong> that haveoperating hour restrictions, and shall calculate a rolling twelve (12) month total for eachgenerator utilizing either <strong>of</strong> the following methods:a. Maintain records which include the date, the starting time (in hours andminutes), and the stopping time (in hours and minutes); orb. Maintain records <strong>of</strong> the monthly operating hours <strong>of</strong> the generator(s) using thehour meters installed on the equipment.2. The <strong>Permit</strong>tee shall maintain on-site, records <strong>of</strong> the following for each <strong>of</strong> the generatoridentified in the ATO(s) associated with this <strong>General</strong> <strong>Permit</strong>:Air Quality Control <strong>General</strong> <strong>Permit</strong> Page 19 <strong>of</strong> 62 Issue Date: July 19, 2011For <strong>Generator</strong>s Expires: July 19, 2016
