TAG MEMORY AND ISSUES REQUIRING ATTENTIONA. EPC C1G2 TAG (G2 TAG)Tag memory shall be logically separated into four distinct banks, each of which maycomprise zero or more memory words. The four storage areas:Reserved memory (password memory) shall contain the kill and and/or accesspasswords, if passwords are implemented on the Tag. The kill password shall be stored atmemory addresses 00h to 1Fh; the access password shall be stored at memory addresses20h to 3Fh.EPC memory shall contain a Stored CRC at memory addresses 00h to 0Fh, a Stored PCat addresses 10h to1Fh, a code (such as an EPC, and hereafter referred to as an EPC) that identifies the objectto which the Tag is or will be attached beginning at address 20h, and if the Tag implementsExtended Protocol Control (XPC) then either one or two XPC word(s) beginning at address210h.TID memory shall contain an 8-bit ISO/IEC 15963 allocation class identifier at memorylocations 00h to 07h.
