<strong>AmCham</strong> Events Year <strong>2010</strong> in ReviewAmerican Chamber of Commerce in <strong>Moldova</strong> met withbusinessmen from TransnistriaAmerican Chamber of Commerce in <strong>Moldova</strong> (<strong>AmCham</strong> <strong>Moldova</strong>) for the first time visitedTransnistria. The event was organized at the initiative of Lions Club Tiraspol, who isone of the main charity and service NGOs in Transnistria.Both <strong>AmCham</strong> <strong>Moldova</strong> members and Lions Club members had the opportunity to getacknowledged with the activities, as well as with the principles and values of these twoassociations.<strong>AmCham</strong> <strong>Moldova</strong> wants to promote its values also on the left side of Nistru, in particularby launching a dialogue with Transnistrian companies, and <strong>AmCham</strong> is confident that themeeting held on the Lions Club Tiraspol initiative has developed a sustained and productivedialogue between <strong>AmCham</strong> <strong>Moldova</strong> and the business environment in Transnistria.The meeting was attended by the President of Lions Club Tiraspol, the mayor of Tiraspol,the vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Transnistria and othermembers of the Lions Club. <strong>AmCham</strong> had representatives from British American Tobacco<strong>Moldova</strong>, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of <strong>Moldova</strong>, CNFA, Foto Rapid, Japan TobaccoInternational <strong>Moldova</strong>, Millennium Group, Moldcell, <strong>Moldova</strong> Agroindbank, NaturBravo, Sun Communications, Vernon David.36A publication of the American Chamber of Commerce in <strong>Moldova</strong>
