<strong>AmCham</strong> Events Year <strong>2010</strong> in ReviewA n n u a lR e p o r t2 0 1 0The International Conference on CorporateSocial ResponsibilityIn October, the 4th edition of the International Conference on CorporateSocial Responsibility (CSR) was held under the topic „ Integrating CSRinto your Business”.The International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility hasenjoyed great interest from the representatives of <strong>Moldova</strong>n businesscommunity, government and civil society, as well as international organizationswith the presence in the Republic of <strong>Moldova</strong>. The goal of theconference was to promote the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) among the business community, government and civil society,discuss current CSR trends, and strengthen CSR practices in <strong>Moldova</strong>.We were presenting a new brand format of the conference, featuringhighly interactive interviews on CSR practices in the morning session anda series of training workshops where attendees from businesses of all sizeslearnt how to integrate corporate social responsibility into their businesspractices. The 2 workshops in the afternoon were focused on CSR in themarketplace and CSR in the workplace.The conference was attended by such international experts as: KaarinaImmonen, UNDP Resident Representative and UN Resident Coordinatorin <strong>Moldova</strong>; Asif J. Chaudhry, U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of <strong>Moldova</strong>;Raluca Costache, Vice President, Republic of <strong>Moldova</strong> Operations and SuperbrandsProgrammes in Romania, BDR Associates; John J.
