12. Relocating FSTDsPURPOSEThis procedure defines the requirements for seeking requalification when an FSTD is movedand reinstalled in a different location. It intends to satisfy requirements found in §60.27(a)(3);Appendices A, B, C, and D sections 10(b) and 19; and Appendix E, Table E1, Element E1.32.SCOPEThis policy includes all FSTDs sponsored by [SPONSOR].RESPONSIBILITY_____ is responsible for maintenance and dissemination of this process; _______is/areresponsible for execution.POLICYFSTD qualification is automatically lost when an FSTD is physically moved from one locationto another regardless of distance. When this occurs, notification must be sent to the NSPM,including: The reason for moving the FSTD, Any continuing qualification evaluations missed, Any sponsor-conducted quarterly inspections missed, A history of discrepancies and MMIs since the last evaluation, and How long the FSTD has been or will be out of service.Every effort should be made to include a plan of how the FSTD will be maintained during theout-of-service period.Based on the feedback from the NSPM, an evaluation may be scheduled to obtainrequalification.RECORDS RETENTIONRefer to 25.
