Althoughwomen may have come a longway since the days of hoop skirts andfoot binding, this doesn't seem to bereflected in the kind of press coveragethey're getting.According to a study by the mediawatchdog group Fairness and Accuracyin Reporting (FAIR) that looked at thefront page photos of three major dailies,the New York Times, USA Today andthe Washington Post, women don't seemto be very important.
