Judy NystromPublic MemberJudy Nystrom was born and raised in Welch, West Virginia. She is a graduate of WelchHigh School and attended Concord College.She has served as a public member on the West Virginia Board of Examiners forRegistered Professional Nurses since 1985 and is currently the longest serving Boardmember. As a public member her representation has been crucial when determiningBoard direction. For the majority of her tenure as a Board member, Ms. Nystrom hasserved as a member of the Board's Disciplinary Review Committee. This Committeereviews and makes recommendations to the full Board on crucial discipline issues.Ms. Nystrom has worked for the State of West Virginia since 1981 and is currentlyemployed as the Medical Staff Coordinator at Welch Community Hospital and is also alicensed realtor. She has three children, one grandson and two granddaughters. Ms.Nystrom is an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Welch, WestVirginia.
