ASTARTA HOLDING N.V. Annual Report 2011The Group at a GlanceASTARTA is an integrated agri-industrial producer with its main operating assets located inUkraine. The key business segments are crop, sugar, and milk production. ASTARTA hasdeveloped significant market shares in all three market segments, being the number onepublic company in Ukraine in terms of volumes of production of sugar beet, white sugar, andraw milk. The core businesses are highly vertically-integrated and synergetic. This providesfor lower cost production and higher efficiency.Figure 1.
