They are suitable for use inheating and chilled applications and witha static pressure rating suitable up to PN25(screwed) and PN16 (flanged). These specially designedplug shapes incorporate the bestfeatures of equal percentage andlinear characterisation to providea valve excellent for modulatingwell at low flow, while adaptingto provide linear characterizationin the later stages of valveopening. This feature, alongwith the variable ratio linkage kit, provides better mixing yet no mid-rangestarvation, (common with most 3-way equal percentage valves).
