• ESProducers: components that read the condition database or other inputsources and produce the condition format objects used by applications.• Data formats: objects describing event content, for example the trigger decisionsor input values for a certain bunch crossing.• Unpackers: when read out from the DAQ system, the event data simply consistsof a stream of 64 bit words for each subsystem. Unpackers implement the logicto decode the subsystem specific format and produce object representations forthe event.• Analyzers: actual emulator logic is then implemented in the form of CMSSWanalyzers that use the input objects generated by previous stages to add objectsrepresenting the emulator decision to the event.Figure 4.6 shows this setup for the L1 GT emulator.
