Dormitory<br />
The dormitory is located in front of the<br />
Marlow Navigation Training Center fac‐<br />
ing San Andres Street.<br />
It has more than 300 beds that can ac‐<br />
<strong>com</strong>modate cadets and crew. It is a<br />
controlled environment and serves as a<br />
gateway to life onboard vessels for<br />
those cadets taking part in the cadet‐<br />
ship program. Bed bunks are similar to<br />
what can be found onboard.<br />
The building has the following ameni‐<br />
ties: slop chest, kitchen, storage room,<br />
business office, recreational area with<br />
table football and billiard table, waiting<br />
lounge, shower area, WiFi room, laun‐<br />
dry area, and drying yard.<br />
The dormitory can also ac<strong>com</strong>modate<br />
crew from the provinces who are wait‐<br />
ing for their flight schedule as well as<br />
those who just signed off from their<br />
vessel and have no place to stay in Ma‐<br />
nila before going home to their respec‐<br />
tive provinces.
