their Jersey cattle and hereafter will<br />

deal in blooded horses.<br />

Mrs. Frank Snead visited her sister in<br />

Louisville the past week.<br />

Mrs. Will Young is with her father in<br />

the absence <strong>of</strong> his son, Dr. C. L.<br />

Misses Julia and Jessie May Young<br />

are improving from their protracted<br />

illness.<br />

Mrs. Robert Gailbreath died at her<br />

home near here Thursday night after a<br />

lingering illness <strong>of</strong> consumption.<br />

Aged 72 years. <strong>The</strong> following<br />

children survive: Claud <strong>of</strong> Florida,<br />

Ben and Miss Nannie Gailbreath who<br />

lived with their mother. Mrs.<br />

Prayer meeting at Harry Hasler's last<br />

Mrs. J. R. Holsclaw spent last Friday<br />

with Mrs. C. L. Cooper.<br />

<strong>The</strong> W.M.S. <strong>of</strong> Hebron met with Mrs.<br />

Dr. Saunders and arranged for a<br />

candy pulling, proceeds for Missions.<br />

At the meeting was Dr. Miles<br />

Saunders.<br />

Dr. Panfield filled the pulpit at Little<br />

Flock. He was guest <strong>of</strong> Dr. Holsclaw<br />

and J. R. Ball.<br />

Rev. E. J. Thornberry visited his<br />

parents recently.<br />

Mr. Estes had a sale <strong>of</strong> stock, etc and<br />

will move to the S. B. Williams<br />

residence near Hebron.<br />

Mr. McKenzie has rented the Mrs.<br />

Nally farm here and will soon move<br />

there. All regret to have Mr.<br />

McKenzie give up the mill, but are<br />

glad to have them remain in the<br />

community.<br />

Geo. Sanders, <strong>of</strong> Okolona, is ill <strong>of</strong><br />

blood poison, which, owing to his age<br />

is serious.<br />

Miss Austine Brooks is convalescent.<br />

Wm. Thornberry has a box on the<br />

Zoneton-Okolona telephone line.<br />

Bert Thorn and Roy Miller have gone<br />

to Portland, Oregon.<br />

Mrs. J. R. Holsclaw entertained her<br />

S.S. class with a candy pulling.<br />

Will Becker and family have moved<br />

into their new residence here.<br />

Mrs. Wm. Grant suffered a broken<br />

limb by jumping from her buggy<br />

when her horse ran away last week.<br />

Mrs. Tom Melton and children spent<br />

Tuesday with Mrs. Will Jenkins.<br />

Marion Starks and wife and Mrs.<br />

Isaac Wooldridge visited their sister,<br />

Mrs. J. N. Cochran recently.<br />

T. J. Brooks sold a lot <strong>of</strong> baled hay to<br />

Will Griffin <strong>of</strong> Shepherdsville. Tom<br />

is one <strong>of</strong> our wise farmers, who has<br />

something to sell at all seasons.<br />

Mrs. Albert Priest and son visited T.<br />

J. Brooks and wife last week.<br />

Mrs. Geo. Haefer and two children<br />

visited her mother last week.<br />

to Christianburg, Ky.
