dread disease, diphtheria has made its<br />
appearance in our midst. Antitoxin<br />
has been given to many who came in<br />
contact with the case developed.<br />
Several times recently there has been<br />
placed in our mailbox, sweet flowers,<br />
which bespeak the loving, thoughtful<br />
heard <strong>of</strong> our youthful mail carrier,<br />
Guy Hecker.<br />

infirmary in the city following an<br />
operation for the removal <strong>of</strong> a tumor.<br />
As Miss Betty Gailbreath, Mrs.<br />
Ireland was well known here before<br />
her marriage. She leaves a husband<br />
and three little children.<br />
