Mr. A. J. Moxham, wife and<br />

by the North German Lloyd line for a<br />

six weeks visit to Mr. Moxham's old<br />

the blacksmith shop to his boys,<br />

Charles and Porter, who will continue<br />

the business as Bridwell Bros. <strong>The</strong>y<br />

are both clever, hardworking fellows<br />

and deserve the continued patronage<br />

<strong>of</strong> our citizens.<br />

Tot Carroll was elected orator <strong>of</strong> his<br />

class at the dedication <strong>of</strong> the new<br />

Law Department Building <strong>of</strong> State<br />

University at Lexington, Ky. and<br />

delivered a fine address there last<br />

week. Good for the Shepherdsville<br />

boys.<br />

Elder A. P. Lyon will preach at the<br />

Methodist Church.<br />

Howell Smith's new residence is<br />

rapidly nearing completion.<br />

Pr<strong>of</strong>. Hancock's new store room is<br />

rapidly nearing completion.<br />

conviction <strong>of</strong> murderer <strong>of</strong> Alma<br />

Kellner.<br />

Mrs. Jennie Miller, one <strong>of</strong> <strong>Bullitt</strong>'s<br />

oldest citizens, died Monday at the<br />

home <strong>of</strong> her only daughter, Mrs. O. P.<br />

Means, <strong>of</strong> the infirmaties <strong>of</strong> old age.<br />

Rev. Martin, assisted by Rev. Wheat,<br />

preached funeral at <strong>Bullitt</strong>'s Lick<br />

Church. Buried at cemetery there by<br />

side <strong>of</strong> her husband, who died seven<br />

years ago. Mrs. Miller was born in<br />

Louisville, 66 years ago, married the<br />

late F. M. Miller in 1862, and moved<br />

to this county in 1876. Since her<br />

husband's death, she has made her<br />

home with her only daughter, Mrs.<br />

Means.<br />

Dr. Emory G. Leatherman, formerly a<br />

prominent dentist <strong>of</strong> Bardstown, died<br />

Tuesday night at his residence in<br />

Louisville. Cause <strong>of</strong> death: uraemia.<br />

Dr. Leatherman was born in<br />

Jeffersontown sixty years ago.<br />

Resident <strong>of</strong> Bardstown for several<br />

years and came to Louisville about<br />

fifteen years ago. Survived by wife,<br />

former Miss Mel Barger (sister <strong>of</strong> Lee
