Mrs. Gladys Lloyd entertained the<br />

Mrs. Sarah Braithwaite died at her<br />
home, one mile from this place,<br />
Saturday morning, January 15. Her<br />
funeral was conducted by Rev.<br />
Brandon at the Methodist Church<br />
after which her remains were laid to<br />
rest in the Cemetery here. Mrs.<br />
Braithwaite was about 75 years <strong>of</strong><br />
age and has been in poor health for a<br />
long time. She leaves three sons,<br />
Richard <strong>of</strong> Zoneton, Nathan and<br />
Johnnie Braithwaite, one sister, Mrs.<br />
Fronie Brown <strong>of</strong> Louisville, and<br />
many relatives and friends.<br />
J. D. Stansbury, age 60, a gentleman<br />
favorably known and a member <strong>of</strong><br />
one <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Pioneer</strong> families <strong>of</strong> this<br />
county, died January 13, at his home<br />
here, after a long illness <strong>of</strong><br />
consumption. Survived by his wife,<br />
Mrs. Lizzie Hough Stansbury, one<br />
daughter, Miss Lounette Stansbury,<br />
one son, Clarence.<br />
