ACG International GI Training Grant AwardThe ACG and the International Relations Committee are pleased to announce the recipientof the International GI Training Grant for <strong>2013</strong>. This program, initiated in 1995, providespartial financial support to physicians outside the United States and Canada to receiveclinical or clinical research training or education in Gastroenterology and Hepatology inselected medical training centers in North America. One grant of $10,000 has been awardedthis year.<strong>2013</strong> <strong>Recipient</strong>Salome Bandoh, MDAccra, GhanaDr. Salome Bandoh is from Accra, Ghana and is currently working as a gastroenterologyfellow and physician specialist in the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics of theKorle Bu Teaching Hospital. She plans to study infectious diarrhea and data from theInternational Hepatobiliary Neoplasia Registry and Biorepository projects at Mayo ClinicRochester under the direction of Drs.
