ACG North American International GI Training Grant AwardThe ACG and the International Relations Committee are pleased to announce the recipientof the North American International GI Training Grant for <strong>2013</strong>. This program providespartial financial support to U.S. and Canadian GI Fellows in training or GI Physicians whohave completed their training within the last 5 years, to receive clinical or clinical researchtraining or education in Gastroenterology and Hepatology outside of North America.Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited gastroenterology fellowship program or be aGI Physician who completed their training within the last 5 years, and must also be citizensof the United States or Canada. One grant of $10,000 has been awarded this year.<strong>2013</strong> <strong>Recipient</strong>Ryan J. Law, MDRochester, MinnesotaDr. Ryan Law is a 3 rd year fellow in training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Hewill be going to Japan to study POEM for two months under the direction of Dr. HaruhiroInoue at the Showa University International Training Center for Endoscopy (SUITE).
