11On welcoming the announcement of the IntegratedTechnology Hub, John Maddock, Chief Executive Officer,Box Hill Institute, recognised the substantial input fromInstitute staff, students, the eastern suburbs communityand, in particular, the Institute’s industry supporters:“The collaboration and input from all parts of the Institute’scommunity, particularly our industry partners, has beenessential to the development of the proposal” John Maddocksaid.“We now look forward to working with our partnersto ensure that the final design of the facility and theassociated redevelopment of our programs continues toencompass innovative and creative approaches to educationand training, using latest flexible delivery methods andtechnology to ensure high levels of technology literacy”John Maddock added.At a total cost of $41 million, the Integrated Technology Hubwill create an additional 3,103 student places annually.
